ABOUT US
In accordance with the proclamation of the United Nation (UN), International Year of Disabled Persons (IYDP) was observed in 1981 worldwide. The general Assembly also called for a plan of action at international, regional and national levels with emphasizing on equalization of opportunities, rehabilitation and prevention of disabilities. In Nepal too that year different disabled related programs were implemented by the government, forming an International Year of Disabled Persons 1981 National Committee. On the occasion of IYDP, National Disabled Fund was established on 31st December, 1981 by Social Welfare Council (SWC). As a humanitarian organization, NDF has been rendering support to persons with Disabilities through implementing meaningful charitable programs focusing on disability rehabilitation, education and livelihood training as well enhancing living condition of Persons with Disabilities (PWDS) for over more than three decades.

Vision
